yeah they're not dogs

they're really based on some mythical stuff so legendary beasts is the most accurate thing, really, but

.. they're based on myths that have more in common with cats than dogs

and

just look at them

they are closer to cats than dogs

Actually they're based off creatures from Chinese mythology... (It has a load of information on their Bulbapedia page) But yes, they are very catlike, I've never seen them as dogs

YES. ^THIS.

Like I mentioned on a previous stamp, I blame the many hordes of Wolfaboos for the whole "dog" nonsense.

One critique I have to admit to (if you don't mind, this is not a flame) is the word "tiger" above Raikou is a little hard to read. Might I suggest a darker colour (like purple) might be better? Once again, thanks for making this!

I've always seen Suicune to be more of a cheetah than a leopard. I mean, it runs fast like a cheetah and stuff

Oh, I totally agree. Also, I blame the bad translations of the game, because in the official magazines I remember they was called cats. Even thought Suicune seems to be more unicorn-deer like (without hooves, I know), I approve it looks everything but not a wolf. XD

oh, it's wolf-like.

but it's partially based on a god who wore the skin of a leopard.
